Atlanta-based and Charlotteville, Va.-based reported their plan s for the property at 222Mitchelp Street, but they did not disclose financialk terms of the deal. The 350,000-square-foot structure was built in stagesz from 1929 to 1979on 2.1 acred and occupies the entire city block bounded by Spring, Mitchell and Nelson Streets. Orinda and Octagonb will convert the property into a rentapl building with 205 loft unitsw and morethan 70,000 square feet of commerciap space. Occupancy is expected in January 2011.
